What goes into making a web-page a successful web-page?  This is something that can only be learned through study and experience.  Our web-site portfolio may not include as many entries as other web-designers out there, but the sites we have designed are geared to be more than just a site, but a part of a marketing strategy.

When designing a site our focus lies first in what our clients wish the site to do for them and what they want to include in the site.  This information, along with the client's budget, sets the entire design process in motion.

After determining our client's needs, we design an overall identity for the site.  The main focus here is on the initial, or opening page, and the overall look and navigation of the site.  We offer the client proofs, much like we would on any print project, of how we envision the site to appear.  We feel that this is one of the most important steps in the design process, because if we can't catch a potential customer's attention at this point, they won't stick around to explore the remainder of the site.  Once an overall identity is decided upon we move to the next step.

After creating the site's identity, we create a page template, that the majority of the site's pages will follow, and we begin setting up the remainder of the site.  Throughout this process we upload the site and revisions to a test site so that the client may work with us throughout this process.  We keep communications open until the site is complete, at which point we publish it on the web under the client's domain name.
