adsfactory.com has been involved in web design since 1995 when our programming and graphic design backgrounds came together.  Since then our experiences have led us to a strong understanding of the potential of the internet and how to create the most effective and efficient sites geared to meet any client's needs.

Along with the growth of the internet has come the over-abundance of web-designers.  Anyone with a scanner or digital camera, basic image-editing software, and page-layout software can be a web-designer.  These people can also design for print as well, but do you necessarily want them to design your company's product brochure?

We know the importance of good design for marketing tools that are printed.  We know how important it is to portray to our potential customers a good impression.  But do we realize how important these things are through the use of the internet.

Not too long ago, I was flipping through a very popular woman's magazine (note that this is a woman's magazine, not a business or technology magazine).  I kept noticing all the ads for internet-based businesses.  I decided to count those ads, and I was very surprised with what I found.  Within the first 100 pages I counted 10 (yes 10) full-color full-page ads for web-based businesses.  Throughout the rest of the magazine (approx. 300 pages in all) the full-page ads for this type of business averaged 1 every 20 pages, with an average of 1 every 10 in the first 100 pages.  To me, this is a pretty strong indicator of the importance of the internet and how important it is to any business.  If you don't believe me just pick up a magazine and you'll see what I'm talking about, also just watch an hour of prime-time TV, you'll be amazed.

Knowing what the internet has done for other companies, how do you make it work for you.  One of the beauties of the internet is that you can make your appearance as large as your dreams, but there are a few tricks. You're page must be informative, eye-pleasing, and easy-to-use.  It's easy to get caught up in all the whistles and bells available today, but take a look at sites by major corporations (remember they've spent millions in market research and development), do they have little lizards dancing in the corners, or the theme to "Love Story" playing in the background?  Clean and simple is the key here, class and style a must.

All of our knowledge and know-how is included in our web-page design.  A web page is not simply a few images and words on screen, it's much more and we know that through experience.
